Christmas Events
Thursday 14 December - Carols at the Clarendon. Venue: the Clarendon pub, West Avenue, LE2 1TS. Carols, readings and a short Christmas message. With festive pub quiz: 8pm onwards. With mulled wine and mince pies. £1 quiz entry.

Sunday 17 December - All-age Carols by Candlelight with children's nativity. Venue: Avenue Primary School, LE2 3EJ. Traditional carols, children's nativity, music performances and a short gospel message. 4-5pm.

Christmas Services
Below are the dates for our Christmas and new year services this year:
Christmas Eve (Sunday 24 December)
- no service at the school
- carols, readings and a short Christmas reflection at the Cansdale's house
- in the morning - no service at the school
- in the evening - joint South Leicester churches service at Little Hill Church at 6.30pm
- the school is still closed for the holidays
- instead of meeting at the school, we will be having a new year church day away at the Lodge Trust in Market Overton (LE15 7PL) - an all-age time of prayer and praise together (11am-12pm), giving thanks for God's faithfulness to us in 2017 and praying for God to guide and grow us in 2018. This will be followed by a church family lunch and a new year walk. More details to follow in the weeks ahead...!
